Dual Academician Formula

Health Preservation No. 1 was formulated under the guidance of two esteemed masters of traditional Chinese medicine: Academician Chen Keji and Professor Yan Zhenghua. Adhering to the TCM principle of "sovereign, minister, assistant, and envoy," it carries forward the health preservation wisdom of "fortifying the body's fundamental health" from the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon. The formula is created through the scientific blending of ten natural herbal ingredients with aged base liquor.

10 Rare and Authentic Medicinal Herbs

Health Preservation No. 1 adheres to the "sovereign, minister, assistant, and envoy" principle in its composition. In the formula: Polygala Root and Cultivated Ginseng, Lingzhi (Reishi Mushroom), and Cordyceps militaris serve as the "sovereign" components; Dendrobium, Black Goji Berry, Eucommia ulmoides Male Flowers, and Lily act as the "minister" components; Poria Cocos and Saffron (used as a spice) function as the "assistant" components; and 15-Year Aged Liquor plays the role of the "envoy." Base Liquor Aged in Pithos for 15 Years

The base liquor of Health Preservation No. 1 is aged for 15 years in pithos. The porous nature of the pottery creates a unique micro-oxygen environment, allowing the liquor to "breathe" freely and mature gradually, resulting in a mellower, smoother, and better-balanced profile. The micro-pore structure of the pottery jars, along with metallic ions, plays a crucial role in both the aging duration and the quality of the liquor. Only base liquor graded as "superior" through a stringent quality assessment process is selected for further aging in these pithos. Annually, just 0.5% of the finest extract from this pottery jar-aged base liquor is reserved as the foundation for Health Preservation No. 1.
